Trip To India in the Summer?

Do you and your friends wish to go to a trip to India and expierence our rich culture first hand?

As we have just started our society we cannot provide a trip to India as a society just yet but we will help you arrange a trip to India and have got a proposed ittenary for a months trip which can be adapted and used (either used by you personally or we can help you by contacting our leading nationwide travel agent in India who has succesfully planned and managed many trips for us)

Flights to India cost around 400-600 Pounds but thanks to the exchange rate things in India don't cost that much for what you get. We feel the itenary below caters to the more expensive travellers and is not ideal for students at 400-500 pounds(includes accomodation + travel) which is ok but we want something cheaper and  are working on this with the travel agent. The acomodation and other things can be changed easily, we have just given you a basic outline of a trip.

Many of us on the commitee have all been around India and can give you some pointers also. Members please feel free to contact us at gandhisoc@hotmail.com if you are interested or just want advice.

If you can hack it, we recomend that you go by trains and buses at this age. This is based on Nikhil's personal expierence; he has recently gone on a similar trip with friends which was (oranised fully by the same travel agent that has given us the ittenary for this trip) soley by buses and trains knowing only about where he is going to stay in the next city, he admits it felt a bit boring at times (such as his 2 day train jouney with his friends from delhi to bangalore!) but all in all a great expierence as he feels his friends truly expierenced the culture and meet some interesting people on the way.

If you have planned a trip or wish to know if anybody else from the society will be in the city if you want to ask them for advice or even meet up with them in the same city i.e. if you are going to Goa chances are Nikhil or Prashant and other members based in India might be going to goa at some time in the summer, or if your comming to Bangalore since Nikhil lives there chances are he is going to be in town at some point.
